Please note that with this update, if Barcoding is installed, Manufacturing will require at least version x.191.0.5 or above of Barcoding.

 

The following fields have been changed to handle larger values and five decimal places.  If there are custom indexes on these tables, they will need to be removed otherwise update companies will fail

Works Order Processing

  • When using Job Costing and opening a WOP screen for the first time after upgrading, a Job Costing transaction migration will begin.  This will remove all existing transactions for works orders from jobs, and replace them with a single transaction.  From now on, only a single works order transaction will appear on jobs.
  • SiWorksOrderAllocationLine has been removed and replaced with SiconAllocationLine. SiconAllocationLine.ForeignID links to SiWorksOrderLine.SiWorksOrderLineID.  You can now get the picked and allocated quantity from SiWorksOrderLine.
  • SiWorksOrderAllocIssHist has been removed and replaced with SiconWorksOrderLineIssueHistory.  SiconWorksOrderLineIssueHistory.SiWorksOrderLineID links to SiWorksOrderLine.SiWorksOrderLineID.  SiconWorksOrderLineIssueHistory stores information when a works order line is issued and links to the transaction history table by IssueTransactionHistoryID.

Material Planning

  • Fix to handle intermittent object reference error when running for Kitting and Works Order Processing
  • Change to stop duplicate suggested works order numbers being used

Works Order Processing

  • Fix so the component internal area (WIP account) is always used by removing the option to not use the component internal area
  • Fix to back flushing lines that are already part allocated or part issued
  • Fix to allow identical credit and debit codes when issuing
  • Removed the issue button setting for process works orders screen
  • No longer able to part build via back flush if the setting to allow booking before issuing all components is disabled

Distribution

  • Fix to the create preallocation screen to stop over preallocating lines that already have preallocations

Kitting

  • Fix to why the kit status was not updating after allocating using the ‘Allocate Kits’ screen
  • Fix to why the build kit button on a sales order line wasn’t enabled when creating a sales order line with allocate on order entry disabled
  • Code and name controls will now be disabled on active kits
