Works Order Processing

  • When using Job Costing and opening a WOP screen for the first time after upgrading, a Job Costing transaction migration will begin.  This will remove all existing transactions for works orders from jobs, and replace them with a single transaction.  From now on, only a single works order transaction will appear on jobs.
  • SiWorksOrderAllocationLine has been removed and replaced with SiconAllocationLine. SiconAllocationLine.ForeignID links to SiWorksOrderLine.SiWorksOrderLineID.  You can now get the picked and allocated quantity from SiWorksOrderLine.
  • SiWorksOrderAllocIssHist has been removed and replaced with SiconWorksOrderLineIssueHistory.  SiconWorksOrderLineIssueHistory.SiWorksOrderLineID links to SiWorksOrderLine.SiWorksOrderLineID.  SiconWorksOrderLineIssueHistory stores information when a works order line is issued and links to the transaction history table by IssueTransactionHistoryID.
Issues Resolved

Works Order Processing

  • Fix to setting works order sparememo1 field to a value greater than 4000 characters
  • Fix to copying works orders so the printed value is not copied
  • Fix to why the ‘Unallocated on WO ‘ was not showing any value on the ‘View Item Balances Screen’
  • Fix to unissuing batch traceable items where no issue history exists in Sicon tables
  • Allocations now ignore returns warehouse
  • A more informative error message will now show when trying to unissue a line that was issued to an internal area that no longer exists
  • Fix to editing estimates where an error was thrown and the screen would not load

Kitting

  • Fix to creating an adhoc kit with component quantities less than 1
  • Fix to the ‘Build Kit’ screen to stop an object reference error

Material Planning

  • The warehouse value is now longer cleared when tabbing through the ‘Create Works Orders’ screen
  • Fix to why economical batch size works orders had the same suggestion number

  • Speed improvements to the allocation process on works orders
