Works Order Processing

  • When using Job Costing and opening a WOP screen for the first time after upgrading, a Job Costing transaction migration will begin.  This will remove all existing transactions for works orders from jobs, and replace them with a single transaction.  From now on, only a single works order transaction will appear on jobs.
  • SiWorksOrderAllocationLine has been removed and replaced with SiconAllocationLine. SiconAllocationLine.ForeignID links to SiWorksOrderLine.SiWorksOrderLineID.  You can now get the picked and allocated quantity from SiWorksOrderLine.
  • SiWorksOrderAllocIssHist has been removed and replaced with SiconWorksOrderLineIssueHistory.  SiconWorksOrderLineIssueHistory.SiWorksOrderLineID links to SiWorksOrderLine.SiWorksOrderLineID.  SiconWorksOrderLineIssueHistory stores information when a works order line is issued and links to the transaction history table by IssueTransactionHistoryID.

Works Order Processing

  • It’s now possible to change the quantity on the Back Flush screen
  • Any free stock will be used when creating a works order, not just if there is enough available to fulfil the full required quantity
  • Unissue bin selection setting and screen added.  Mainly used with Barcoding, as gives the user the option to select the bin stock should be returned to when unissuing
  • New setting that when enabled will cause the nominal set on job headers to be used by labour, machine, non stock lines and when issuing stock
  • Many speed improvements to the ‘Back Flush’ screen
  • Timesheet screen added to allow labour and time off to be booked to employees
  • More information will now be recorded in the history of a works order
  • Added new processes for calculating team availability based on amount of employees in team, work patterns and employee holidays

Material Planning

  • Improvements made to the Capacity Plan so it now looks at teams, work patterns and employee holiday.  This has replaced Availabilities
  • Added Team scheduler to the Capacity Plan screen
  • Added Overloaded Teams to the Capacity Plan screen
  • Added Overdue Works Order list to the Capacity Plan screen
  • Forecasts can now be reduced on sales order entry
  • New Calculate button added to suggested works orders which calculates when it can next be built
  • Added new processes for calculating team availability based on amount of employees in team, work patterns and employee holidays
